In this chapter the author talks about diplomacy. The main parts of the chapter are the example the author gives of different situations where people in the worship band did not get along. In the stories the problems got so big that people wanted to leave the church. As worship leaders we should strive to build positive relationships with other band members in order to work together to lead the church.
My favorite part of the chapter was how the author gives real life stories. It is cool to see what really goes on within churches around the country. I personally have seen many arguments break a church apart.
It is sad to hear that you've seen churches broken apart. We need to be diplomatic ties keep the worship going.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your summary of the chapter and how you've seen this in your own life. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI have also seen conflicts cause tension within church communities and it's always sad and stressful. As leaders we have the opportunity to set the tone when it comes to working with others. Great post, but I think you could expand your use of vocabulary.
