Chapter 2- Walking in Gods grace
In chapter 2 Tom Kraeuter says that many worship leaders feel that they are unworthy to lead worship and lead people into Gods presence. He says that fact is that we are unworthy, but because of the blood that was shed for us on Calvary redeems us and covers our sins. Through Christ sacrifice he makes us whole and we are able to be vessels for God to minister through us. Kraeuter says not to focus on what you're doing wrong but what God is willing to do if you are willing to let him use you.
My favorite part was how Kraeuter said that we are all individually called into Gods kingdom. That is very encouraging and inspiring to a worship leader trying to understand his role.
David, I really liked what you said about not focusing on what we are doing wrong but focusing on what God is willing to do if we are willing to let him use us. It's easy to look at all our sins and think we are terrible people! But God can use our mistakes and our weaknesses in so many ways! We need to live in God's amazing grace and come running back to God so He can use our failures to bring him glory.
