Chapter 7

In chapter 7 the author talks about the importance of knowing the Word of God. He puts an emphasis on the fact that scriptures are actually in songs. It is important to have scriptures in our hearts so we can lean back on those in times of trouble. When we are in a tough situation we can lean on the words of God to help make our choices. Also as worship leaders we need to build our relations with God in order to lead to lead others to God.

My favorite part was how refreshing this chapter was. A lot of times as worship leaders and musicians we are so focused on the craft and being great at what we do but sometimes we forget about what's most important which is God.
